  Stopped in late evening and I'd have to say that was the worst service from Maccas ever. Drive through give my order no problem go to the next window for my food and sat there for 7 minutes without anyone looking my way. So finally I start waving my arms for attention doesn't work maybe the window is one way glass I can see them they can't see me. So I try beeping my horn. Nothing ok maybe they have sound proofing. So finally I get out of my car and bang on the window still nothing so I start banging harder finally someone acknowledges me and opens the window.

  Conveniently located almost exactly half way between downtown Sydney and ever-popular Leeton NSW, McDonald's Yass provides the perfect stopping place for a quick meal on the 6.5 hour trek. It's also just before you turn off to Canberra, wherever that is, so pretty good for that too. It has both real people and machines to take your order depending on how disgusting and travel weary you feel, and is next to KFC if you have a less brand-loyal travel companion. It also has THE best name of you're from Northern England (where "Yass!" means "I'm really excited by this"). I thoroughly enjoyed my stop at Yass, but I think I was a bit tired after 3 hours of country roads.. I made it to Sydney though so whatever they gave me, it definitely worked.

  And the last thing i want to talk about is Kim. I could tell she hated me and treated me differently to a lot of other people. I worked just as well as some of the other people there who have been working there for years, but i never got offered any other positions (like crew trainer for example). I even asked if i could be one multiple times, but she never went forward with it, but she left some of the worst people stay crew trainers. There were maybe 3 good ones, but the rest were terrible. But after nearly a year, shift and hours went low, from me getting 20 hours weeks to 8 hours in total. This was like this for people who were 17 and had their P plates too, and only being able to just pay for petrol and nothing else.

  But the staff isn't really better at this at all, considering when i first started there i was already being bullied for being a trainee. And whenever i was in drive thru, i would always finish serving before people got it out the window. They would obviously take forever, but i would get torn a new one by customers for them not being able to keep up. I would then ask if they could speed up, but then get a new one torn by them too. More than half the time they didnt even wear the headset they're suppose to wear when they're on bottom end. Ironically it was managers who did that but also got off at me for doing the same thing.

  Poor management from a good majority of them. There were a couple of good ones but the rest were terrible. There was also one who everyone hated and reported repeatedly, but still works there to this day. Not to mention i was held from doing certain tasks and was forced to be held back when my shift was going to end. Once i spent half an hour doing jobs that another person had to do, but they let him leave before doing them. I also had to do drive thru's cleaning, no matter what station i was in. But whenever i was in drive thru i had to stay back and do it all.

  Pit stopped there with my parents. It was well kept, cleaned and staffed appropriately. They got my parent's order wrong but it wasn't much hassle to fix. Otherwise, classic maccas.

  Don't stop in late night or early morning. Stood at the counter for 5 minutes while staff cleaned floors. Service was non existent. Seeing as its a frequent stop for truck drivers i would of assumed prompt service.

  So really, this is the worst place to work at if you live around yass. People arent exaggerating when they say this is the worst maccas in Australia, because its true, and nothing will change it.
